EVA rubber: what it means in padel

EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) is the most widely used rubber for padel racket cores.

It comes in different densities: soft EVA absorbs vibration and helps ball output with little effort; hard EVA returns more power on hard shots but demands more strength and technique. Many brands use multi-layer cores with different densities.
